Do I have to be 18 years or older to register?
Yes, to subscribe to the Tidepool, everyone must be at least 18 years old.
We require models to submit an age verification video clip before their account is approved.
By requiring everyone to be adults, we aim to maintain a responsible and trustworthy community.
What do I get with my subscription?
Your subscription comes with the following features:
- A profile that showcases you!!! Add your bio, photos, and any of your social media and website links to drive members to subscribe to your other platforms and increase your monthly recurring revenue.
- Your profile published and searchable on the Creator Directory.
- Unlimited private messaging with content buyers registered on the platform.
How do I prevent members from stealing my content?
In the Tidepool, there is nothing to steal! Our platform doesn’t allow for payment processing or media transfer. Literally, the only things they could steal would be the few pictures showcased on your profile page… and we have a script in place that disables right-clicking on your photos, deterring 99% of users from stealing.
Now, once you have connected with a buyer and are ready to take payment and transfer the media, this must be done off-site. Once off-site, we can’t guarantee anything.
The long and short of it is… you can’t, because people suck. But we feel we have done our best to limit any stealing of media on this site by simply not having anything to steal.
Do I have to chat with members?
Our private messaging feature is a core part of Tidepool, but how you use it is entirely your choice.
As a Creator, you can block any member who annoys, disrespects, or wastes your time—or you can choose to disable messaging altogether.
Why should I choose this platform over others?
Don’t.
The Tidepool wasn’t created to replace any of the other popular content platforms. In fact, this website is uniquely different as it prohibits any purchasable media content nor the ability to process sales transactions.
The Tidepool was built solely as a networking website meant to make things easier (and more affordable) for both disabled content creators and their supporters to interact. There is no payment processor or media attachments allowed, which means all payment transactions and content transfers have to be processed outside of this platform.
Members save money while receiving unfettered access to our Creator Directory featuring disabled content creators they want to work with. While Creators don’t have to forfeit 10-20% of each sale for the right to sell content.
It’s truly a win-win situation.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, of course! No one should be forced to do something they don’t want to do.
The Tidepool is not only a new website, but a new concept in general. We are still growing our services and if this website falls short of delivering, we would love to know how we can make it better for you and everyone else.
